It has a well equipped “Out Patient Department” and diagnostic laboratories. The
OPD functions 6 days a week and has the following clinics:
Out patient examination rooms are equipped with slit lamp, Keratometer, applanation tonometer and indirect ophthalmoscope. The Retina, Glaucoma and Cornea Clinics are equipped with Fundus Camera, Fluorescein Angiography equipment, Humphrey Computerized Field Analyser, A and B ultrasonographs, ORB Scan and Zywave, Yag Laser and Argon Green Laser and Zyoptix Laser. For indoor patients, the hospital has well furnished air conditioned rooms with attached toilets. At the walk-in OPD approximately 100 patients are examined each day. A patient registers at Rs.80.00 for the general OPD and Rs.200.00 for the Specialist OPD, which covers him/her for a period of 15 days. Subsequent visits cost the same respectively. Poor and destitutes are provided all the treatment free. In-house laboratory, contact lens, spectacles and pharmaceutical facilities are also available at reasonable rates.
