An unique feature of the hospital is its highly effective out reach programme which reaches out to the remote areas of not only Uttar Pradesh but the surrounding states of Haryana, Rajasthan and the slum areas of Delhi.

 

This programme emphasizes our main objective of rendering modern ophthalmic aid to those sections of our society who are in most need of it but due to various socio-economic reasons cannot reach medical aid, which is so readily available in urban areas.

Our ambulances pick up elderly and poor patients in need of surgery and treatment on prefixed days from areas where the patients gather on ear marked days and are screened and identified for necessary surgeries.

Their three days stay at the hospital includes cataract surgery with IOL implant, medicines, food, transportation to the hospital and back home after recovery from surgery. Postoperative check ups are thereafter conducted at regular intervals.
