Dr. Sushil Choudhry, M.B.B.S., M.S., is the president of the Ishwar Charitable Trust. A renowned ophthalmologist, he established ICARE Charitable Eye Hospital, which is dedicated to render modern ophthalmic aid to the poor and the needy totally free of cost. Dr. (Mrs.) Rewa Choudhry, M.B.B.S., M.S., has been the Head of Department and Principal of Lady Hardinge Medical College and Vardhman Medical College respectively. She has organized numerous eye-screening camps for the Government as well as for Rotary and Lions’ Clubs. She has contributed greatly to the cause of women’s welfare. Dr. Saurabh Choudhry, M.B.B.S., M.D., DO, DNB, is the Secretary of Ishwar Charitable Trust. He is actively involved in social work in various fields particularly the ophthalmic requirements of the poor and the deprived. Dr. Surbhit Choudhry, M.B.B.S., DNB, is member trustee totally involved in the ophthalmic needs of the poor and the under privileged section our society. Mr. Dinesh Mathur is a very successful businessman of Delhi involved in the garment industry and other multifarious business activities. He is a social worker and lends his services wherever necessary. He has helped ICARE considerably over the years and is responsible to a great extent to its growth and contributes generously with funds and his own personal efforts to whichever organization seeks his help. He looks after the library and a school in Ranikhet for underprivileged children and supplies all the required books. Mr. Surinder Malik is a well-known figure in Delhi as a businessman and a social worker. He has contributed greatly to the growth of ICARE and has been most generous in the cause of the needy and the deprived and women’s welfare. Mr. R.C. Bhargava, IAS, Former Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and the Cabinet Secretariat of the Central Government in Delhi. He also worked for 2 years as the Commercial Director of BHEL. He was appointed Managing Director (CEO) of Maruti Udyog in 1985. He has been very active in the confederation of Indian Industry. He has given valuable advised in the growth of ICARE Charitable Eye Hospital and has provided guidance in the running of the organization. Mr. Hira Lal Zutshi our Trustee member has been the Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL). He has been associated with various NGOs who work in the filed of Social Welfare. He has been a great benefactor to ICARE Charitable Eye Hospital. Prof. Rameshwar Singh, an engineer by profession is from the University of Stanford. He is very involved with the various activities of the Indian community and established the first Vedic Centre in California. He raised funds for many charitable organizations in USA. He promised to register ICARE as a society in the United States. He contributes considerably to various social welfare activities in India. Mr. Sunil Anand, a Chartered Accountant by profession has settled in the
United States for many years now. He is much-respected member of the
community at Staten Island and a great philanthropist. Above all he is a great
human being. Mr. Anup Khosla, Chief Finance Officer, HelpAge India, is working for the betterment of the poor and the aged so that they can lead a life of dignity in their twilight years. Dr. Anil Kohli a very successful dentist, member of Medical Dental Council and All India Dental Society and has held many prestigious positions nationally and internationally in the filed of dentist.
