Dr Vikram completed his bachelor’s degree from B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. He completed his Master’s degree in Ophthalmology from the renowned Institute of Ophthalmology, Aligarh Muslim University. He then did his Super specialization in Vitreoretina from the prestigious SankaraNethralaya, Chennai, wherehe was awarded the Best Research Fellow award for outstanding contribution in Clinical Research during his tenure. He has been involved in conduct and completion of close to 8 clinical trials and has published close to20 articles in peer reviewed Journals. He has also completed Fellowship from the International Council of Ophthalmology, London. He has also been awarded the prestigious Membership form Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK in 2020.

Dr Vikram has more than 12 years of Clinical experience in handling Vitreoretina diseases. Prior to joining ICARE eye hospital, Dr Vikram has worked as a Vitreoretina consultant in one of the premier eye institutes in India, Dr Shroff’s charity Eye Hospital, New Delhi.He then worked as Head of Vitreoretina department in Indira Gandhi Eye hospital and Research Centre, Gurugram. He has performed more than 5000 vitreoretinal procedures and is anexpert in performing complex vitreoretinal surgeries. He has keen interest in teaching and has trained more than 30 vitreoretina fellow and ophthalmologypostgraduates under him.
